Nora + Jesus | Cuernavaca Wedding at Quinta Rubelinas
This Cuernavaca wedding at Quinta Rubelinas was absolutely breathtaking! We were excited when Nora and Chuy invited us to join them in Cuernavaca, the capital city of the state of Morelos, a change of pace from our beloved Riviera Maya. The couple chose Cuernavaca as it is a midway point between their respective hometowns. Nora is originally from the northern state of Chihuahua and Chuy from the south in Tabasco, the families met halfway for a grand celebration of love at Quinta Rubelinas.
Photographers Sol traveled to Cuernavaca for the big day and were in awe of the venue as soon as she arrived. Quinta Rubelinas is an impressive place, lush gardens, a beautiful open air church and a luxurious terrace, every little detail in place for romance. Bride Nora wore a gown by Romona Keseva, she was simply elegant and beautiful. The large group of guests waited anxiously for her arrival and Chuy’s face lit up when he saw his bride walking down the aisle strewn with purple petals. After a traditional Catholic ceremony, the emotions flowed as congratulations were offered all around with champagne toasts and warm embraces.
After some newlywed portraits in the gardens with Sol, the couple and their guests enjoyed an out of this world reception on the terrace. The evening was full of surprises, from a live big band, performances by friends and family, carnaval-style costumes and yes, a lot of tequila! Wedding coordinator Alma Regalado deserves a round of applause for putting together an evening with so much entertainment, incredible decor, tasty cuisine and a dynamic energy that kept the party going late. This was a magnificent example of a joyous Mexican wedding.
