Destination Wedding at Playacar Palace – Lily and Gavin
The destination wedding of Lily and Gavin at the Playacar Palace, we knew from the moment the bride contacted us that we were going to have FUN. We always ask our clients to provide us with personal information to help us gain an understanding of their personalities which allows us to go into weddings with a good idea of their style, taste and vibe. The questionairre answers from Lily were SO fabulous, so detailed and so funny, we felt like we knew her and Gavin before we even met. She described herself as a mermaid, Gavin as a pirate and told us about their zombie apocalypse emergency plans. Thankfully no zombies appeared on the wedding day, just a great group of family and friends who were up for a very good time. It turned out that Lily was not only charming and funny, but beautiful too! She wore a gorgeous bridal gown by Robin Jillian and her natural beauty was enhanced by the hair and makeup of The Styling Trio Riviera Maya and we just loved her bright bouquet by Floreria Jardin. Wedding coordinator Brenda Carreño of the Palace Resorts put together a perfect wedding day for the couple and their guests, all the details in place and a dynamic reception full of life.
Our sales manager Ael enjoyed her pre-wedding communications with the couple so much that a friendship grew and she met up with the couple when they finally made it to the Riviera Maya:
When we asked Lily and Gavin to share their plans, story and ideas with us, I never thought I would receive such a great response. Lily’s story made me laugh and almost cry at the same time, I immediately noticed her bubbly and crazy personality and knew we just had to be part of her day!!!!!
I made everything possible to keep her “hooked” on us (lol) and what started of as friendly advise for a bride-in-need, turned out to be a great friendship and a whole lot of fun e-mails. When we finally personally met, it was like hugging a long-time friend.
Lily & Gavin, I feel truly blessed to have met you both and wish you, from the bottom of my heart, sooooo many years of laughter, fun travel, mezcales and fried ants :)
