We are interested in doing a low-key celebration of our marriage with a cenote ceremony with our closest family and friends. We had Matt and Polly as our photographers for our cave family cenote wedding Akumal, Mexico. We wanted a unique experience for our destination wedding – and Del Sol Photography and Matt far exceeded our expectations!
Somehow Matt and Polly captured the ethos of love from our day in a way that we could only imagine. Sofia, the shaman who works with Del Sol, was incredible. She helped us incorporate bubbles into the ceremony in a totally fun and enjoyable way. As an officiant myself being an ordained minister in the UCC, I was soooo impressed with the meaningfulness and sincerity of the whole service. All of our guests told us how moving the entire ceremony was.
I can’t imagine having gone with any other photographer for our day! Thank you so much – Jessica + Rahim

My opinion is that the cenote is the most amazing place to escape. To find yourself and be present and be together. The amount of interaction with birds, nature, light, wind, monkeys, lizards, bubbles, the water, and all the elements combined with the sound of the Mot Mot bird, this is Earth’s most beautiful natural sanctuary. We recommend planning your Family Cenote Wedding Akumal in Mexico to escape to be with a very intimate group of 15-30 people for this cenote. – Matt
