Casa Verana Yelapa Destination Wedding – Del Sol Photography
This was such a special wedding for del Sol….Photographed by the team efforts of Matt and Sol.
We were invited to the Pacific Coast of Mexico for this incredible destination wedding… The only way to reach this costal town south of Puerto Vallarta is by boat!!!! SO, we were thinking that it would be very “del Sol style” since it would likely be a beach wedding, sand, palm trees, perhaps a river or a jungle. NOPE, it was practically on a mountain top! We were in for a workout to get to the top!!!

Georgia and James (Jimmy) as he is called by his friends, brought all their friends and family from the land down under, Australia. Jimmy had visited Casa Verana in his early twenties as a fisherman and worked his way up the ladder to eventually manage this amazing boutique eco property. Everything is delivered by mule to this unique resort making this one of the more interesting projects on our resume.
Needless to say, it was a magical story involving 2 people with very special connections to a love story in Mexico. Love the reflections, amazing unique details, beautiful table setup on this mountain top overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We are so thankful to be able to shoot a Yelapa destination wedding!!!!
