Havana, Cuba National Geographic Magazine cover photo love story

We were lucky enough to be commissioned by our friend Russell Brown to document Lauren and Preston on their honeymoon. This wasn’t a typical resort honeymoon though, this one took them on an epic Havana, Cuba National Geographic Magazine cover photo love story. Hired to chase lovers in the streets of this city that time has forgotten.

Here’s what Sol had to say about the trip:

It was an amazing adventure full of new experiences, with magic in every place we discovered. Havana truly is an incredible, unique city where time has stopped. It’s full of historic buildings, vintage cars and interesting people. We spent a couple of days walking around, getting lost on their streets, and documenting romance, culture and adventure.

Besides all these incredible moments, new friends and awesome pictures… The most amazing surprise was to have one of my images featured as the cover of National Geographic Travel Magazine… YAY!!!

After a few days, we left Lauren and Preston to enjoy their privacy and headed for the countryside for an authentic Cuban experience… traveling in a gorgeous classic car! We stayed at a local home, and toured around meeting the local people while enjoying them making delicious Mojitos and rolling cigars. Culture and nature everywhere!!! – Sol
