Isla Mujeres Pre-Wedding Portraits

8 miles off the coast of Cancun is is the incredible island of Isla Mujeres. Only half a mile wide, this slice of Caribbean island life is an amazing location for a portrait session. Brightly colored murals and a lot of local charm makes Isla Mujeres a super fun place to shoot – and of course an amazing location for a destination wedding.

“We chose Isla Mujeres because we wanted a centralized spot with the charm of Mexican authenticity. We originally looked into Cancun and Riviera Maya. Both of which are great locations, but they lacked the intimacy that we were looking for. We wanted a more private location for ourselves and our guests to enjoy and found Isla Mujeres to be a wonderful and beautiful location.” – Ashley + Levi

We had a rare opportunity to have a wedding portrait session with Ashley and Levi the day BEFORE they got married. Outside the wedding day time crunch they had the chance to make the most of the Island, and even managed to hit up a bar!
