We love Kids at weddings. They are a LOT of fun and the juxtaposition of wedding formalities and kids being kids is always fun! Marcia and CJ had their little boys right up there, front and center with them. Marcia even walked down the aisle with her kids – true mom power! We were honored to join their loved ones for their Mahekal family wedding!

Del Sol: Why did you choose Mahekal Beach Resort? 

“We really love playa del Carmen… spent some of our first moments here as a couple of years ago and wanted to share our ceremony with family and friends here amongst the beautiful background.”

“Ha!!! Nooo… we didn’t expect it to be soooo windy but it’s the meaning more than anything that we were looking for!”

“Fantastic experience! The Del Sol Team were super professional and extremely nice and supportive. I’m not someone who likes to be the center of attention at all and your photographers really made me feel at ease. the pics are just so beautiful and intimate, awesome experience!!”

Del Sol: How was your experience in Mexico – bearing in mind the current travel advisories against Mexico? 

“Mexico was fantastic!! We felt safe the entire time. Guests were a bit unnerved given the advisories, but stay low key, have a good time, behave and you’ll be fine.”
