Playa del Carmen Engagement Session – #Aworldofitsown
We took Therese and Shiraan away from their pre-wedding venue visit for a Playa del Carmen Engagement Sessions.
The rain had been absolutely HAMMERING down in the hours before, but stopped to leave us with empty beaches, an eye-popping turquoise ocean and rich blue skies. Therese’s little red dress added the final splash of color.
“The photographs are AMAZING… we absolutely love them! Thanks so much to Del Sol Photography for braving the monsoon, the photographers were such a pleasure to work with!” – Therese + Shiraan
We were lucky to get special access to a Mayan ruins site which is normally closed for photography. The ruins were the launching point to Cozumel for Mayan women making the annual pilgrimage to honer the goddess Ixchel during 1200 AD to 1526 AD, post-classic period.
We love the contrast and beautiful colors the rain gives us! For more reasons to embrace weird weather check out our post why rain on your wedding day is awesome!
