When Cherany and Amy contacted us to shoot their Playa del Carmen wedding, we couldn’t wait for the date! It was with a great sense of pride that we met these fine ladies at El Taj to capture their love and the intimate ceremony. This was a colorful affair, full of life and energy and joy!
Amy wore white from designer Mori Lee and Cherany in orange from the House of Wu, each with their own aisle to walk down, a great celebration of equality and love. Their closest friends joined them for the big day from the ceremony on the beach to the reception in the restaurant Casa del Agua. One of our favorite wedding coordinators Leanne of LM Weddings Mayan Riviera ensured that the whole day was spectacular and flawless.
When we asked Cherany and Amy why they chose Del Sol Photography, here is what they had to say:
We love, love, love your saturated colors, crisp image quality, creative style, story telling aspect of the slideshows, close up detail shots, images that convey the beauty of the environment and the ones that capture the emotions of the people there, trash the dress sessions like we’ve only seen in magazines, friendly/fun photographers that are a joy to be around… basically, everything we see in your pictures online!
I feel a rush looking through the Del Sol blog, because I can see the emotion and excitement in the pictures, and I see how gorgeous a place Mexico is! When I look through a del Sol slideshow, I feel like I was actually there (or at least wishing I was!). I love the mix of candid shots and posed photos, as well as the mix of close up details and images that take it all in.
Del Sol Photography would like to thank Cherany and Amy for including us in your celebration, we wish you both a long, happy, healthy and joyful life together! We are looking forward to our next wedding!
Update: A photo of this lovely couple was featured on the Huffington Post!
