Playa del Carmen Wedding Le Reve – Ashley and Sean

The boutique hotel Le Reve in Playa del Carmen is a great venue for a destination wedding, their wedding coordinator Arlenis is not only fantastic at her job, but a really lovely person too! We were excited to capture her wedding last year and even more excited when brides tell us they hired us because of her wedding photos. Such is the case with Ashley and Sean, two hardworking medical researchers who love the outdoors and nature and who chose to have their wedding with their toes in the sand of the Riviera Maya.

Bride Ashley wore a lacy gown by Watters with hair and makeup by Sarah Garnier and carried a unique bouquet of white flowers and succulents by Vanessa Jaimes Floral Design. After walking down the bamboo aisle covered in flower petals, she met her groom under the chupah on the beach to share their “I do’s”. The celebrations then began with a cocktail hour serenaded by mariachis and a fun reception in the Le Reve restaurant. Everyone was up on the dance floor after the delicious dinner (the food at Le Reve is pretty spectacular) and a great time was had by all.

When we asked Ashley why they chose Del Sol Photography, here is what she shared with us:

I really love amazing pictures. I find that pictures really do tell a thousand words and they capture so many emotions. I definitely love more in the moment, candid pictures and from what I see you all do that so well. Hardly any of the shots during the actual weddings/receptions are posed or forced. I love it! I also love interesting and artistic lighting. That is one of the reasons why we loved Le Reve, all of the amazing lights and ambiance at night. This is also highlighted on your website. All of the reviews I have read online are amazing AND you were Arlenis’ photographer too! If that is not a good recommendation, I don’t know what is!
