Riviera Cancun Wedding Now Jade – Emily and Alex
The Now Jade Riviera Cancun wedding of Emily and Alex took place on a cloudy Mexican Caribbean day at the Now Jade resort. The bride and groom from Canada traded their winter weather for the warmth of the Riviera Maya, inviting their closest family and friends to join them for a vacation wedding celebration. Despite the clouds, the day didn’t bring rain, the Caribbean Sea showed off its blues and a rainbow blessed the chupah on the beach.
Emily and Alex are both veterinarians and share a love of crossfit, they are a dynamic and energetic couple and we had a great time capturing their Riviera Cancun wedding. Bride Emily wore a unique taupe gown by designer Anne Maier Couture, with her upswept hair and simple and elegant jewelry, she was a most beautiful bride. Groom Alex was tall, dark and handsome in his khaki pants and white shirt, barefoot of course as it should be for a beach wedding.
Wedding coordinator Ariadna Tort of the Now Resorts ensured that the day was perfect, the dark purple decor and flowers were gorgeous! The couple tied the knot under the chupah on the beach before enjoying a cocktail hour of champage and hugs all around. The newlyweds then joined the photographer on the beach for a portrait session as the cloudy skies cleared at sunset, fantastic light! The reception was intimate and cozy, one long table set on the Carnival Terrace of the Now Jade Resort, guests enjoyed fine dining, great story telling and partied on the dance floor. The evening was full of laughter, this was a relaxed Riviera Cancun wedding, everyone felt at home and had a great time.
