Their Riviera Maya villa wedding itself is full of inspirational moments and connections set against the beautiful backdrop of the Haciendas, Puerto Aventuras.
Del Sol: It’s amazing LOVE brought you to Mexico! Why did you decide to come to this amazing country?
“We are from Maine, which is usually pretty cold in November. We wanted somewhere tropical and warm.”
“We started at looking at different venues in tropical locations. We fell in love with the idea of having a Riviera Maya villa wedding at the Haciendas.” – Nicole
Del Sol: Talk to me a little about your skills as a photographer? Matt told us he photographed you with your gray card!
“I recently started learning more about photography. I love having the skills to capture special moments, especially as my son is growing up.” – Nicole
“I am still in the early stages of learning, but took a class in the fall where learned all of the basics which included the importance of a gray card to get the correct exposure :) ”
Del Sol: What was the most amazing moment of your day?
“I don’t think I can pick just one! I felt like every single moment was just so special – We had all of our closest loved ones with us”

Del Sol: Was there a part of each others’ vows that touched you?
“When Max read to Luke during our vows, I lost it (as you can see in the video! haha!). I had gone through a VERY difficult experience and divorce prior to meeting Max and I was nervous about letting anyone into my son’s life.”
“Max has turned out to be a better father (and husband) than I could have even dreamed of.” – Nicole
Del Sol: Why did you choose Riviera Maya villa wedding at the Haciendas?
“I loved the idea of having the wedding in a private location where we could all stay together. When we saw pictures of the Haciendas, I knew it was the perfect location. We loved amazing views and the decor was so fun.”
“What we didn’t know prior to our arrival was how awesome the staff would be…the service blew us away.” – Nicole

Del Sol: We loved you guys’ choreographed dance!
“I was a dancer growing up, and although it’s been well over a decade since I have taken a class, it’s something I always enjoy doing. However, the dance was actually Max’s idea!”

“Everyone was great – super nice, a pleasure to work with and they only added to the fun. And the final products are AMAZING.”
