A destination beach wedding was a fantasy for Stefanie and Rion, the couple often joked about having a wedding in paradise but realized that they could make it a reality. With the support of their closest family and friends, their dream came true on a cloudless day at the Valentin Imperial Maya. Their engagement story is so sweet, groom Rion proposed by presenting Stefanie an adorable puppy with a sign around his neck saying “Marry me?”, how could she say no? Valentin Imperial Maya wedding coordinator Ana Muñoz helped make dreams become reality with a beach ceremony (love the conch shells marking the aisle) and poolside reception, pretty flowers, great food and an intimate day celebrating love.
When we asked Stefanie why they chose Del Sol Photography, here is what she said:
I instantly fell in love with the photos del Sol took of weddings taken place at various resorts. I really liked the fact that most of the shots were candid rather than formal/posed shots. I am drawn to this style of photography and would love for this moment to be captured in such a way. The individuals being photographed look very natural and comfortable in the photos, and your photographers must make them feel this way. We are not a couple who are super comfortable in front of a camera, so having professional photographers who are able to provide guidance, is a must. I REALLY enjoy looking at the the photos of the bride and groom getting ready before the event as well as the shots of around the resort and the staff setting up for the even. I also think del Sol does a great job with editing photos.
Photographer Debora captured all the love and light of the day, be sure to see the whole slideshow! Del Sol Photography thanks Stefanie and Rion for inviting us to share in their wedding celebration, we wish you both a long and happy life together!
