Our first trip as a couple was to Riviera Maya in Mexico several years prior (although we stayed at a different resort), so it seemed fitting that we celebrate spending the rest of our lives together in the same region as well. I’ve never been one of those girls who dreamed about a big wedding – in fact, I would say quite the opposite. I wasn’t sure I’d ever get married until I met James. Even still, I knew I didn’t want a big local wedding; the idea of exchanging vows barefoot on the beach was my idea of perfection.”

James: “The most amazing moment of the day was once the music started and she walked out in her dress. It was very emotional for me. I remember thinking I was the luckiest man alive and so very blessed to be surrounded by friends, family, and the love of my life.”
Rachel: “For me the most amazing moment was actually walking barefoot on the beach towards James. I had both parents escort me down the aisle, but the only thing I really saw was him at the end, with the beautiful beach in the background.”
“I wanted to run at that point – it was like I couldn’t get to him fast enough! I just remember thinking to myself, how lucky am I, that I get to marry my best friend? The reception and party was amazing too, but I’ll never forget the moment when I turned the corner and saw him waiting for me.”
