Amazing wedding photography is something that many brides and grooms dream about. Some adventurous couples though are more inspired by underwater wedding photos! Joneice and Patrick are defiantly an underwater love kinda couple! Following their wedding they revisited the beach of Dreams Tulum for their trash the dress, followed by cenote magic and underwater amazingness :) We asked Joneice and Patrick to talk to us about their experience.
“We knew we wanted the trash the dress experience because of all the breathtaking photos by Del Sol. Everyone has beautiful wedding photos, but how many people can have underwater photographs? The movement and lighting, plus Sol’s eye for the perfect shot, is definitely what sold us.” – Joneice
Del Sol: What was the best bit? How did it mach up with your expectations of the trash the dress experience?
The Del Sol team explained the history/ceremonial aspects of the cenotes, the tradition of the smoke they used. It truly felt spiritual. I was taken aback by the reverence of it all, and was humbled to be a part of the whole process. It was an honor to be a part of something so majestic and lovely, and to share that with my new husband ❤ ” – Joneice
Joneice: “For me, it was definitely more challenging than I expected. Being in front of the camera, the cold water, and swimming in my gown took some getting used to!”
Patrick: “My favorite part was watching Joneice in the surroundings and admiring how beautiful she is and acknowledging just how much God has truly blessed me.”
