Tulum Destination Wedding Las Ranitas- Vanessa and Seumas

We were super excited when Vanessa and Seumas chose to bring their guests all the way from Australia (Seamas’s Family) and Vanessa’s from a small Caribbean Islands Antigua and Barbuda.  It was a super treat to shoot a destination wedding for another wedding photographer.  Vanessa is so talented, we are so humbled she would hire us.

They chose Las Ranitas, a small boutique hotel in Tulum Mexico. Its about 1 mile fromt he biosphere, and very very private.  The beaches are pristine, palm trees provide just a touch of shade, and the turtles actually hatched on these beaches during Vanessa & Seumas’s wedding… wow, that was such a gift from nature to see this occurance under the moon and stars.

Vanessa wanted a unique ceremony “Cosmic Ceremony” where the Shaman asks the 4 Cardinal directions of the universe for permission.  Each direction is representational of a very special meaning.  At all 4 directions are close family and friends who provide a flower-petal blessing.  The overall engagement around this circle of guests is an incredible experience of energy sharing.  Guests participate with musical instruments and overall, the ceremony is unlike anything you have ever witnessed in your living years!
