We love the ways that brides and grooms surprise each other on their wedding day. Warren is up for groom of the year award with his surprise serenade to his new wife for their first dance. A song written and performed for her by him and his brothers. True family love.
“Just when I thought things couldn’t get any better Warren made our special moment even more memorable! That’s our song – specially made for me!” – Jade
Warren: “Preparing the first dance song was very straight forward in my head because having a brother who is a singer/songwriter. I had planned to help him write the song for him to perform on the day. What I hadn’t planned was to be singing the song with both of my brothers.”
“I knew Jade was expecting my brother to sing our first dance song but I knew she wouldn’t expect for me to be singing as well. So seeing her face when I started to sing made my day complete.” – Warren
“Jade loves the lyrics to the song which makes me very happy as word for word come from the heart. The morning after the wedding we played the song again and Jade got all emotional which made me feel like she understands how truthful the words are.”
Del Sol: Why did you choose a destination wedding?
We wanted it to be more than just a day we wanted it to be a moment that would stick with everyone! The whole experience of being away, friends and family gathering together and preparing for the big day made it all more special.
Del Sol: How was your experience with the del Sol team?
“Vanessa and the team were amazing! They were constantly busy but they were so discrete you didn’t even know they were there! Crouching in bushes , sprawled out behind some shrubs, you name it they were doing it, all in hope to capture the perfect picture! We could not fault them at all.”
Del Sol: What’s your top destination wedding advice?
“If a destination wedding is a consideration for you…. then do it! You won’t be disappointed.”
