Cancun Wedding – Hyatt Ziva Cliff Side Gazebo – Ashley and Kareem
“Kareem and I actually decided to be together in Cancun, Mexico. So we thought what better place to get married!” – Ashley
The Hyatt Ziva is a beautiful spot for destination weddings and Ashley and Kareem brought family love smiles and some serious style to their wedding day! We asked Ashley to share some reflections on her wedding day with us.

“I knew I did not want to wear white and a blush pink dress was perfect. I especially loved the back of my dress. Every girl wants to say “I do in Choo” and I absolutely loved those shoes the first time I saw them.” – Ashley
Del Sol: Did someone say something special that touched you on your wedding day?
Ashley: “The speeches were definitely a huge surprise. So many loving and touching words from our friends and family made the wedding that much more special. Also, my family that wore all white to honor our family member that passed was very special and surprising.”
Del Sol: Why did you choose Hyatt Ziva?
Ashley: “We chose the Hyatt Ziva for our wedding because of the cliff side Gazebo. That location alone is amazing. On our wedding day it rained and we were not sure if we would be able to have our ceremony outside. Luckily the rain stopped and we were able to enjoy the Gazebo for the ceremony.”
“The Hyatt Ziva is amazing but the staff takes the cake! Our coordination Elizabeth was simply amazing. Efrain had special tequila shots for us right after the ceremony. He is like family to us!”
Del Sol: How was your experience with Joaquin the del Sol team?
Ashley: “Joaquin and Vanessa were great. Some of our guests commented how detailed they were taking pictures. These pictures are amazing! I cannot stop looking at this. Please tell Joaquin and Vanessa thank you again!! I’m so happy!”
Del Sol: What’s your top destination wedding advice?
“Have fun and enjoy every moment of it.”
