Mexico Honeymoon Photography – Expect the unexpected

“Meeting people and getting to know another culture from folks who live in a different land is an eye opener. Witnessing lifestyles that are polar opposite to your own will put things into perspective” – Matt

My cousin Sara visited Mexico for a photo shoot.  She decided to go on vacation and take a photographer with her amazing new husband, Ben.  Adventure tours, experiences and journeys in nature are appealing to more and more people looking for Mexico honeymoon photography adventures together.

I told Sara we had a plan, but actually, I didn’t want to give her any clue what we were going to do. In the morning we picked her and Ben up at the hotel. We had a few stops ahead of us.  In all, we visited the amazing lagoons of Pac Chen near Coba in Quintana Roo, followed by a beautiful Mayan ceremony.

Sara: “Prior to meeting Matt, I had no intentions of traveling to Mexico. It just wasn’t on my bucket list. After learning about Del Sol Photography, I said “I AM doing photos like this when I get married!” Del Sol Photography was the primary reason we looked into Mexico.”

“Hospitality in Mexico is hands down some of the best in the world” – Sara

Sara: “We really enjoyed ourselves, we got smoothly through the airport and had a another easy experience with our connection to our hotel. Everyone we met wanted to make sure we had everything we needed.”

“When we hear about things about Mexico here in the states, it hard to take it so seriously that all of Mexico is experiencing these things. Similar to when media shows shooting, murders, and gang violence in the US, it’s not happening everywhere. When traveling to Mexico, be smart, do your research, and you will have a great experience!” – Sara

Sara: “Our Mexico Honeymoon Photography experience will always give us something to look back on. We took almost no pictures on our phones or cameras while on our trip. Other than the photos from Del Sol, we would not have much of a memory as we were enjoying the environment technology free.”

Sara: “Sure you could do these activities on just an old trip, but what would those mean to you? Del Sol planned to make our experience one to remember and very unique. We will always have this story about our honeymoon, and the photos to show just how cool it was.” – Sara

We have started shooting Mexico Honeymoon Photography sessions and look forward to more amazing locations.   This Honeymoon Photography session in Cuba ended up on the Cover of National Geographic traveler.
