This Playa del Carmen wedding at the Riu Palace Mexico was a blend of elegance and fun. Iryna and Stan were joined by their family and friends for a destination wedding in the warmth of the Mexican Caribbean, a welcome escape from the cold winter of Massachusetts. The day began with the flurry of activity of the “getting ready” time in the luxurious and modern rooms of the Riu Palace Mexico. Bride Iryna was surrounded by gorgeous women in lilac as she donned her Maggie Sottero gown and hot red Manolo Blahniks (the ruby slippers!) The Styling Trio Riviera Maya completed her look with hair and makeup that enhanced her natural beauty. The ceremony took place in the lush garden of the Riu Palace Mexico, a lovely alternative to the beach.
The festivities continued in the El Palmar bar, wedding coordinator Veronica Bahena created a beautiful setting in the modern space, pretty lilac flowers and white feather decor! After a delicious meal and moving speeches, the party got started and this energetic group lit up the dance floor. The traditional “cake smash” got a little crazy, so much fun!
