The Hacienda Estate

The Rivera Maya Haciendas are comprisesd of 3 fully staffed private villas: Hacienda Del Mar, Hacienda Corazon and Hacienda Mágica. The properties are oceanfront and side by side inside Puerto Aventuras gated community. Villas can be rented separately or together depending on the size of your group and have a total of 39 suites.

What makes the Rivera Maya Haciendas so special is that they are full to the brim with charm. They are the perfect antidote to large resorts and “paint by numbers” rentals that all seem to look interchangable. Every corner of each hacienda has unique details and art objects that create a cozy atmosphere and a stunning backdrop for a wedding or special event.

Riviera Maya Haciendas Experience

Private villa weddings do not equate fewer services than a resort location. Quite the opposite! To start with the villas are private on a pristine, secluded beach. Their services include concierge and butler service. heated swimming pools. Riviera Maya Haciendas’ gourmet chefs create personalized menus with hand-picked wines. They offer cooking classes and tequila tasting as group activities and their own bartender mixologist.

The Haciendas’ spaces themselves lend themselves to a multitude of events. There are ample spaces for dining inside and outside. The courtyards and patios can be used for anything from wedding ceremonies to yoga!

Private Beach and Pools

The Riviera Maya Haciendas all sit a few steps away from white powdery sand and immaculate beaches. You’ll see hardly anyone else passing by, and you will truly feel like the beach is just for you! The Haciendas also have heated pools which are an essential item when small kids are in a group. Kayaks and paddleboards are available too.

Eating + Drinking

The Haciendas’ gourmet chefs create personalized menus with hand-picked wines. The Haciendas even offer cooking classes and tequila tasting as group activities and their own bartender / mixologist.

Characterful Mexican Style

The Riviera Maya Haciendas really do have a SOUL. From traditional Mexican textiles to hand-made furniture and antique arts and crafts, the decor provides a sumptuous and charming backdrop for weddings.

Hacienda Architecture

The hacienda-style architecture lends itself to epic wedding photography. The colonial arches instantly transport you to another time. The courtyards are romantic and intimate and the whole property manages to combine grand elegance with cosy boutique style.

Hacienda Del Mar, Hacienda Corazon and Hacienda Mágica all have their own unique charm. For wedding ceremony and reception venues, there are beach, courtyard, and garden venues. Here are some of our favorites.

Riviera Maya Haciendas Beach

All of the villas have a private slice of beach at the foot of their garden. For a “toes in the sand” wedding, you have all that you could ask for a stone’s throw from the main house. There are also opportunities for epic sunsets. The stone jetties are also great for photo-ops!

Hacienda Del Mar Ocean View Garden

The Hacienda Del Mar Ocean View Garden is an iconic wedding ceremony location for us. The arches frame the ceremony perfectly! Nicole + Max, Tanya + Travis, Leslie + Rusty and Jenna + Nick all chose a Hacienda Del Mar ocean view garden wedding ceremony. Natasha and Mike had their wedding reception here.

Hacienda Del Mar Courtyard

The large Hacienda Del Mar courtyard is one of our all-time fave wedding reception venues. There is something so intimate about dining in the courtyard space, surrounded by the high, arched walls. String lights mixed with the ambient lighting provides the softest most romantic glow. Leslie + Rusty and Tanya and Travis chose a Hacienda Del Mar Courtyard Wedding Reception.

Michelle and Tim loved the Hacienda style so much they decided to forgo ocean views for the epic entrance of Hacienda del Mar.

Hacienda Corazon Garden

Marie + Martha nestled their wedding ceremony among the palms in the Hacienda Corazon garden. They kept the poolside area for their cocktail area. The space was perfect for their group of 30!

Hacienda Corazon Courtyard

Nicole and Max and Michelle and Tim had a Hacienda Corazon Courtyard wedding reception with the first dance outside in the oceanfront garden. We love that we can photograph the reception from above!

Hacienda Mágica Poolside

Marie and Martha chose to have their wedding reception in Hacienda Mágica. The poolside patio is a gorgeous reception dinner location. Ocean views and an eye on the sky allow you to make the most of sunset and dusk. We love how they used the arched portico area for a trio of musicians to entertain their guests!

We love the Hacienda Mágica courtyard as the designated party area. Marie and Martha went for a Mexican-style heart projected in the center of the dancefloor that looked fab!
