Riviera Maya Trash the Dress Cenote and Beach – Karen and Rick

A romantic trash the dress shoot in the Riviera Maya was the perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Gorgeous couple Karen and Rick joined Del Sol Photography in a jungle adventure, discovering the lush flora and lively fauna (some pretty spectacular spiders, cool!) and exploring a sacred cenote. Both Karen and Rick describe themselves as “outdoorsy” people, they were right at home on jungle paths and under the water. Karen wore a lovely lace bridal gown by Katie May Los Angeles and her simple veil worked great underwater. Rick wore his full suit, no small feat underwater, it gets heavy, but he was fantastic! The shoot moved to to the Riviera Maya coast to enjoy the surf and the sand, the looks of love between this couple are so genuine and moving!

When we asked Karen why they chose Del Sol Photography, here is what she shared with us:

I love the uniqueness and fun nature of the photos. They do not look all artificially posed and stiff. I love colour and movement and something different.I have a friend who used you and the pictures were amazing. I love the beach, underwater and cave shots. The lighting and artistry of the poses.

Photographer Debora captured all the Valentine’s passion and romance, please be sure to see the whole slideshow! Del Sol Photography would like to extend our thanks to Karen and Rick for joining us on this adventure, we wish you both a long and happy life full of new experiences together!

Principal Photographer: Debora
