Riviera Maya Wedding at Barcelo Maya Palace – Kimberly + Jordan
Riviera Maya Wedding Barcelo
A destination beach wedding was always the dream of Kimberly and Jordan since the moment they were engaged in a romantic hot air balloon proposal. Their big day at the Barcelo Maya Palace was full of love, romance and a whole lot of fun and dancing.
It may have rained a little on the wedding day. Here is why we think rain on the wedding day is awesome !
The only thing missing was their sweet lil pup Oscar but he was there in spirit (and in a nice blown up photo of him prominently displayed at the sweetheart’s table). Barcelo wedding coordinator Claudia Vazquez ensured that the couple had a flawless day, from the beautiful decorations in bright colors to the delicious food and great music at the reception and the thrilling fire dance performance. The newlyweds were surrounded by their closest family and friends in a grand celebration of their union.
Bride Kimberly was so very pretty in her strapless bridal gown by Allure Bridals and her make up by Styling Trio Riviera Maya. She was surrounded by feminine beauty with her bridesmaids in coral and her lovely junior bridesmaids in white. Groom Jordan and his groomsmen were looking sharp in their grey suits and vests, handsome men! The day was full of joy and emotion and it shows in all the moments captured by photographer Melissa. Be sure to see the whole slideshow!
Del Sol Photography would like to thank Kimberly and Jordan for inviting us to share in their special day, we wish you both a lifetime of happiness together!
This wedding was stunning! I loved everything about it! Great pics. I will be having my wedding in Riviera Maya 2-14-14. I was wondering if there was any way possible to get in touch with this bride (via email?) to ask her about her decor, and where some of her things were from? I loved it all. Especially the table decor and men’s suits. She was stunning and the pics, amazing!
Congrats on the upcoming nuptials and thanks for the kind words. For privacy reasons I cannot share the bride’s contact information, but I can tell you that the decor was all done by the Barcelo Maya Palace wedding coordinator and the suits I believe were Express Clothing.
Hopefully we’ll see you next year! Happy planning!
Thank you for your kind words! You are welcome to email me any questions, as I know how incredibly difficult it is to plan a destination wedding and get information. My email is [email protected]. The suits and ties came from Express, I believe it was the Photographer line. These had a nice subtle grey pinstripe which I loved, and their shoes…Sperrys. Almost all the decorations I brought in with me,(get ready for traveling with 12 bags:) ) except, obviously, the flowers and chargers (however, I did bring in all the ribbons, sashes, and jewels for the flowers). I ended up finding incredibly talented and creative people via ETSY! If you don’t find exactly what you are looking for, many are open to customization, trust me, sign on there at once. My coordinator at the hotel sourced out the tables and chairs that fit a vision I was going for…My entire ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception is really different than we planned, and was a spur of the moment Plan B, as tropical storm came through that day…but you can kind of get a good feel of what I was after. In my experience, you will stress over making it a perfect experience for all your guests and yourselves…and no matter what happens or doesn’t happen, it will be the most magical day of your life! Congratulations on your engagement, enjoy the process….and remember on your day to breathe in every second and try to remember every detail, and how you felt at every moment, marrying the love of your life! It will be so magical for you! Congratulations bride to be, and if I can help…let me know…I loved creating this day…its always in the details:) Best wishes, Kimberly
