Wedding Mulberry United Methodist Church – Joanna and Mark
“I am so happy that you are to be my bride today. Remember to breathe. Look at me (I’ll be the guy trying not to ugly cry) We got this.” – Mark
Time goes by at light speed on the wedding day and we quickly realize we are left with only memories, hopefully in photos, as well as handwritten letters & notes between Joanna and Mark.
“Meet me at the church at 5:00pm. I cannot wait to be your wife… and I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with you. I absolutely adore you – my best friend. all my love, Joanna Potter <– :)”
This is the 3rd time I got to see Mr Arrieta see his daughter in a wedding dress. I remember Jenifer and Nathan’s destination wedding on Jekyll Island as well as the goosebumps with some wind that day. I’ll never forget Jessica and Sebastian’s sunny day in Downtown Atlanta as we strolled through Piedmont Park on the way to the Georgian Terrace.
At every one of these weddings the wedding party made the ride across town on board a trolley. This time, the final stop: Downtown Macon and the beautiful Mulberry United Methodist Church and the famous Armory Ballroom.
“I’d like to thank my parents for another successful wedding, mom for planning, dad for writing the checks and getting out of the way. Dad, congrats, your final one, we’re all someone else’s problem now!” – Jenifer’s speech
I want to give a special thank you to the Arrieta family for having me be part of your family legacy. Woah, what a journey this has been. Thank you for keeping me in your hearts for over a decade. Thank you for giving me the most intimate experience of seeing these beautiful daughters of yours and all of these wonderful memories. George and Valerie, I know I can always count on you for Krispy Kreme donuts! – Matt Adcock
