Photo by JuanTwo love birds meeting each other in Cancun come back to Riviera Maya (playa del carmen mexico) to get married :) Yes! I was there to witness a crazy passionate love.
I had to ask how they found each other, and here's a short version of the crazy story by Megan's words and some of my fav photos from the session

Spring, 2008. Despite my beautiful life, I was feeling restless. So when my sister, Jess, casually suggested we go to Cancun for her birthday, against my normally boring and responsible nature I surprisingly said – “YES!”
So we went, expecting nothing more than some epic good times. On our second day there we decided to head to the pool bar for some bevies (no judgement people, we were on vacation). When we got there we noticed three strapping men were taking up the seats at the bar. Never one to shy away from a handsome man (or let one stand between her and her vodka oj) Jess pulled me toward the bar. As we approached the handsome men saw us coming and moved aside to give us their seats. I couldn’t help but notice that one of them had the best set of dimples I had ever seen. They kindly offered to “buy” us a round of drinks, and what ensued was an afternoon of pool bar fun.
Photo by Sol The next morning I woke up with yes, a bit of a hangover, but for some reason I also had a serious case of butterflies. Confused, Jess and I carried on with our day. It wasn’t until late in the afternoon that I discovered the source of those butterflies: he was standing in line at the bar wearing the best set of dimples I had ever seen. I knew right then I was in trouble, and so that became Shawn’s nick name. Since Trouble and I lived over 5,000 miles apart, we knew that the odds of seeing eachother again were slim.
At one point during the trip I needed a time out to clear my head so I went up to my room to siesta. Before I went to sleep I decided I needed a sign. I promised myself that if by some small chance it was Shawn who woke me up from that sleep than I knew that I had found something special. If he wasn’t there when I woke up, then I swore I would walk away from him forever. I went to sleep, and woke up to the sound of the hotel room door opening. I braced myself to see who was there...and in walked Shawn...
Photo by SolThey quickly realized were meant to be together, "Mr. Trouble" proposed and 56 days ago they got married. Juan and I were the lucky ones to shoot a trash the dress session.
Photo by Sol. We only had 2 hrs to be around them, it was enough to feel the magic of what they have together :)
