Xcaret Park is located 1 hour from Cancun airport and 15 minutes from downtown Playa del Carmen. The Park is an eco-archeological theme park and tourism development that is also one of the most spectacular destination wedding locations in the Riviera Maya. Hotel Xcaret Mexico, Hotel Xcaret Arte and La Casa de la Playa Xcaret
Xcaret recently opened the 900 room Hotel Xcaret Mexico Now so you can stay in the Xcaret fantasy world all vacation! Hotel Xcaret has beautiful wedding locations, however, if the Xcaret Park calling to you, rest assured that wedding services are seamless between the Hotel and the Park. Xcaret are currently building another 900 room resort, the Hotel Xcaret Arte as well as a a small boutique hotel with 73 rooms, La Casa de la Playa (The Beach House.)
Catholic Wedding Ceremonies
Xcaret is home to several world-class, Catholic wedding venues. Xcaret Park offers two incredible chapels: St. Francis of Assisi Chapel and the Chapel of Guadalupe. Both are consecrated and are only available to couples who are both Catholic. Masses are performed by a Catholic Priest.

Xcaret Park Mayan Weddings
Xcaret Park also offers a symbolic, non-legal, Mayan Ceremony. A Shaman performs the wedding in the Mayan language, allowing you and your guests to experience the magic of the region’s pre-Hispanic traditions. Mayan Ceremonies are also held in the Natural Pools or Archaeological Zones.
Civil Wedding Ceremonies
Civil ceremonies held here by a Justice of the Peace are internationally recognized. You can have a religious or spiritual ceremony where a minister of the faith of your choice will bless the union. There can be held in the Natural Pools area or the Archaeological Zones.
Del Sol Travels Recommends
Since Xcaret Park Wedding ceremonies are often at dusk, after the park has closed, consider a first look before your ceremony! The time together in the park before the sun goes down is an excellent opportunity for “daytime” portraits with blue ocean and sky. Remember – the park is BIG – we’ve had couples spend up to 2 hours before their ceremony doing portraits! Don’t forget to schedule a little touch-up time before your ceremony. There is a bridal suite beside the Guadalupe Chapel.
