Del Sol Associate Photographer: weddings and portraits
Martina joined Del Sol in 2013 and has been working as a Destination Wedding Photographer in the Caribbean since 2006. She’s Italian and studied Industrial Design in Italy. Instead of becoming a designer she decided to follow her father’s passion for photography. She got on a cruise ship in 2005 and started her career as a photographer. Martina has documented hundreds of weddings in Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, and the Riviera Maya. Martina speaks English, Italian, Spanish and French.
Martina has a very romantic style. She is a specialist in capturing candid, photojournalistic moments. Her pictures have a really intimate and loving feel to them. She loves to work with natural and available light.
Martina is also super zen – She’s cool and calm under pressure – she’s lovely to have around but discreet on the wedding day (and not just because she’s tiny!) Martina has a gift for connecting with clients and bringing life, light, and love to all her photographs.
We are also super proud of Martina because she’s a super mum! Little Aisha has been part of Del Sol Jr. team since 2016 and she is adorable! Martina is also on the cat lovers team with her rescue cats Eva and Felix. Her superpowers include twerking, cooking, breastfeeding, basketball and fire dancing as she used to be a fire show artist!
