Cenote Trash the Dress – Suzannah and Josh
I was drawn to the ethereal and angelic look of the photos you were creating. You guys have a group of photographers that understand light… and that’s the MOST important thing. Good models and willing couples are great, but without the light… well, there is nothing – Josh
Is always an honor (and a little bit scary), to be chosen by a photographer to take their picture. Josh is a sports photographer and it’s wonderful though to hear words like these. It reminds us of another quote from a pioneer of photography, inventor of roll film and the Kodak camera, George Eastman.
Light makes photography. Embrace light. Admire it. Love it. But above all, know light. Know it for all you are worth, and you will know the key to photography – George Eastman
But let’s get down to the down to the reality of a trash the dress:
“Our trash the dress session was different than we expected. I guess I imagined those magical photos just happened, I should know better of course. Overall, it was a lot of hard work. However, it was those magical moments caught and viewed on the back of the viewfinder that kept us going. By the end of the session we were completely spent, but as tired as we were, we had a lovely and romantic dinner that evening and relived the whole experience again. Overall, it was amazing and I recommend it to anyone and everyone!” – Josh
