Principal photographer: Matt Adcock

After their destination wedding in the Riviera Maya, nature lovers Maricelle and Michael let their hair down and joined Del Sol Photography in a cenote for an underwater trash the dress shoot. Maricelle chose not to trash her formal wedding dress and brought a very special gown just for this shoot (a great idea for anyone hesitant to use the real deal!) With her ChelseaBondJewelry jewels and the sparkly rhinestones on the dress, Maricelle was a gem of a mermaid bride (which compelled Matt to break into song, “Diamonds” by Rihanna). The love between Maricelle and Michael really shines through in these photos!

Here is what Maricelle had to say about the trash the dress experience:

This photography team is not your point-and-shoot photographers. They are truly incredible artists dedicated to their craft. You will see it in the excitement in their eyes and the smiles on their faces…These gallery-worthy photographs will be priceless when we grow into our old age, look back on these photos and see when we were young and daring.

Keep on “Shining Bright Like a Diamond” Maricelle, we thank you and Michael for sharing a great adventure with us and we wish you all the best and many years of happiness together!
