Azul Fives Wedding – Stephanie and Matt
“We decided to travel for love because it’s what connected us when we met. We both love to travel and have a goal to see all the seven wonders some day. This is why we chose to go to Mexico. What better way to celebrate love than to get married in a country of a seven wonder!”
Looking through Stephanie and Matt’s wedding photos it’s impossible to miss the outpouring of pure love from everyone in attendance. It’s hard to imagine that their pre-wedding preparations mostly consisted of worrying about the weather and having to rush to the mall to buy pants for the groom! With a day full of adorable kids, touching moments and a FUN party these two had an incredible day. We asked Stephanie to share her thoughts.
Del Sol: We love that the KIDS were so important on your wedding day!
“When Matt and I became engaged, I was not only committing myself to him but his children as well.”
“It was extremely important for the kids to be part of the ceremony so that they felt included. The necklaces were a symbol of that commitment and a seal to establish our new family.”
Del Sol: What was the most amazing moment of your day?
“The most amazing part of our day was exchanging vows. Its one thing to tell each other how much we love each other in private but to express your love for each other in front of our closest friends and family is truly special.”
Del Sol: Why did you choose an Azul Fives Wedding?
“We chose Azul Fives because of their beautiful rooftop. We were so happy to have had the rain hold out just in time for our ceremony because thats what captured our attention when searching for a venue. The service at the resort was outstanding and definitely sets themselves apart with their hospitality. Maria was our onsite coordinate and she was amazing. She was readily available at any time and resolved any last details we brought to her attention.”

“Our experience with the Del Sol Team was amazing! Despite the craziness of the day with running to the mall last minute to buy pants because we forgot them at home!”

Del Sol: How was your experience in Mexico?
“Despite all the negative attention Mexico has received in regards to traveling in the last year we had such an awesome experience. Our friends and family who attended had nothing but great things to say about their time there. For anyone who may have doubts about traveling to Mexico, they must keep in mind that in all places of the world there’s always good and negative things going on. It is the same here in America. We have had a lot of things in the media that may cause people to be hesitant about coming here. But I don’t think it should stop people from coming to America. When I visited Italy the biggest thing was thieves and pick pocketing. It didn’t stop me from traveling to Rome.”
“If you are thinking about planning a wedding in Mexico I say DO IT! It was the best decision we made. The service was fantastic, the country is beautiful and the planning was easy compared to having a wedding at home. We are both so happy we decided to marry is Mexico and we would do it all over again!”
