Belize Trash the Dress experience at Ambergris Caye – Lara and Josh

When Lara and Josh contacted us about traveling to Belize for their wedding and trash the dress experience, we jumped at the chance for adventure! A four hour drive south from Playa del Carmen and a flight on a private plane brought us to the charming island paradise of Ambergris Caye where we met this energetic couple. We first shot their wedding, an intimate ceremony on a sliver of sand in the sea. The next day we set off for an amazing journey, discovering new places, jumping from boat to boat, island to island, stopping at a small fishing shack in the middle of the sea and playing with turtles. We had a great time entertaining the locals as we walked through the streets of the small island town. It was a tough journey, carrying a tonne of equipment under the blazing sun and finding the challenges of boat travel on a wavy sea, but it was oh so worth it for the amazing images we captured and the joy we had spending the day with lovebirds Lara and Josh.
