Ancient Mayan traditions live on – the Mayan language is still spoken today. The Rivera Maya is home to many shamans and spiritual people. The combination of the local culture and travelers interested in a spiritual and cultural experience birthed a plethora of beautiful “Mayan” ceremonies, for weddings, vow renewals and elopements.
