For me, my travels have been the chance to go to a place that already exists in my imagination – Hugo Pratt

We love beauty, it’s our life and our passion. We love whale shark photo tours !!!  We live in a gorgeous place and experience extraordinary things every day. It’s never enough though, even if you almost get used to it.

So when Sol and Matt told us they were planning a “staff day of adventure” we were ready to go, no matter what the plan could have been, for sure it was going to be something amazing! We headed to the gorgeous Isla Mujeres, just off the coast fo Cancun and the Riviera Maya.

We have been lucky enough to go and swim again with this magnificent animal, the Whale Shark. The biggest fish in the world, peaceful and graceful despite the size. When you see him coming towards you, for a moment you think you are going to crash into a bus! Then he slowly turns and his caudal fin passes only a couple of inches in front of your face, without touching you at all.

If you ever get a chance, you must also get to know Isla Contoy. This island is also known as “Bird Island” because of the amount of frigate birds that live around the shores.   The color of the ocean is an unforgettable Caribbean blue. Only a limited amount of visitors are allowed on the island daily, which is why we would like to say thank you to Alberto Friscione for organizing the whole day. He took such good care of us, no wonder he’s one of the most famous Mexican icons of the underwater world!
